How does client-side image upscaling work?
Standard resizing algorithms stretch pixels and cause noticeable blur. Our tool utilizes high-precision Bicubic Spline Interpolation which calculates mathematical color curvature across a 16-pixel neighborhood, combined with an Unsharp Mask (USM) filter to detect and sharpen fine borders and micro-textures.
Is there any daily limit or watermark?
No account or payment is required. Output is limited to 24 megapixels and 8192px per edge. This tool uses interpolation and optional edge sharpening, not AI detail reconstruction.
Which mode should I choose?
Smart Enhance is ideal for standard photos, portraits, and digital art where you want crisp edges. Smooth is best for gradients and soft backgrounds. Pixel Art is designed for retro games, icons, and sprite art.
